Jethmalani Vs Jaitley getting too personal?

It looks like the defamation case is becoming Jethmalani Vs Jaitley and not Jaitley Vs Kejriwal. In this hate game, Kejriwal could be at the losing end because Jethmalani is taking personal revenge on Jaitley. For a senior lawyer like Jethmalani, it is not wise to use the words like “crook” against the Finance and Defence Minister of India in the Delhi High Court. It is an abusive word Jethmalani  was asked if he is using this work personally or if he has the approval of the defendant Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal. Jethmalani  said he has approval and he wanted to prove the Union Minister was a “crook”. With this comment, Jaitley is planning to increase the defamation charges.

Jethmalani has been grilling Jaitley and he asked 42 questions this third time and 4 were not allowed. Earlier, it was 69 questions in total. Jethmalani said “I am conducting a case, wherein I intend to prove that he has no reputation whatsoever. This man does not even deserve a paisa from this suit against the defendants (Kejriwal and five other AAP functionaries)”.  He also said Jaitley is “shameless” and “disaster” to Narendra Modi. But Jethmalani is not right in calling him with names, without proving Jaitley guilty. Where in the world, a senior lawyer calls a Union Minister crook and what kind of chief minister approves such language? This is beyond decency and the “crook” word applies more to the ones who is saying and who is approving.

Jethmalani Vs Jaitley rivalry is not new and the maverick Jethmalani seems to be having fun in embarrassing Jaitley in the court.  He even tweeted, “@ArunJaitley please sue Ram Jethmalani as he has defamed you in the courtroom more than @ArvindKejriwal did.” This could be the reason he even took up the case of defending Kejriwal. Everyone can notice that the case is getting personal and Jethmalani Vs Jaitley rivalry and Jethmalani is revengeful in this saga. The decency of the courts, the Legislative Assemblies, Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha is going away and the people attending these respected temples of democracy are crossing all the limits. Hope good sense prevails and people accept the reality.
